Mohill Station House Redevelopment

Work is continuing on the project to bring the former Railway Station and Stationmaster’s House back into use for the community. The Railway Station will provide a range of amenities including a location for heritage and arts events in the town.
Planning permission was recently secured for the redevelopment of the building and the Mohill Town Team successfully secured €500,000 as part of the Town & Village Renewal Scheme to redevelop the Station House.
Over the last number of decades, a huge effort has been made by the community in Mohill, especially the original trustees, to retain ownership of the building and to seek avenues of funding to bring life back into the building. To leverage the funding secured of €500,000, we need to raise €55,000. We are seeking your support in helping us to raise this amount and to ensure this landmark building becomes a vibrant part of the town’s fabric once more.
If you would like to contribute to the development of the Station House an account has been opened with Bank of Ireland, Mohill.
